During the 16 Days Campaign 2009, the Rape Crisis Network Ireland to launch its Research Report with a special one day conference.

The Rape Crisis Network Ireland (RCNI) will release of the report arising out of the 4 year research project commissioned by the RCNI and undertaken by the NUIGalway Dept. of Law, led by Conor Hanly with Dr. Deirdre Healy and Stacey Scriver.
According to Fiona Neary, RCNI Executive Director, ‘This ground-breaking, landmark research will inform the investigation of crimes of sexual violence in Ireland for decades to come, and paves the way for further critical research projects.’
A one-day conference, to coincide with the launch, will address the key findings and far reaching recommendations. This event includes key spokespersons such as the DPP, the Garda Commissioner, members of the Judiciary and legal profession as well as other key agencies impacted by the research recommendations.’
As space is limited this is an invitation only one day conference. The RCNI will be issuing formal invitations in October.
