Dublin 12 Domestic Violence Service is hosting a Domestic Violence Forum. The theme for the day is “The impacts and effects that domestic violence has on a woman’s femininity”. There will be group workshops, feedback and a Q&A session, as well as a Candle Lighting Ceremony to commemorate the number of women who have been murdered through domestic violence in Ireland since 1996.
The purpose of the Forum is to bring together the different strands of community and statutory organisations to work together to ensure best practice in responding to women experiencing domestic abuse.
The Domestic Violence Forum is on 26th November in St Agnes Parish Centre, St Agnes Road, Crumlin Village, Dublin 12. For more information and to RSVP contact firstname.lastname@example.org or 01 408 7737.
